FILLING THE STEAMPOLISH™ TANK
Through the front, left funnel, fill the Steampolish™ tank by following these steps:
- Open the fill valve and pour the contents of the container marked Polishing Compound until the tank is filled about 2 or 3 millimeters above the ball in the fill valve.
- Close the fill valve.
NOTE: This solution will diminish in concentration with use and the tank requires cleaning at least once a year depending on use, perhaps more often.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Let the steam build up to operating pressure, 65 PSI +/- 10 PSI.
At first use, it is normal for the pressure to drop: first, air is eliminated and after this steam pressure will build up.
To activate the Steampolishing™ system, turn the polishing switch on. This is located to the left of the Power Switch. When the foot switch is pressed, steam and polishing compound are released through the SteamJet nozzle. The desired proportion is achieved through the mixing valve on the upper left side. When the valve is closed, NO polishing compound is allowed to enter the SteamJet.
With the valve open at a full turn, the maximum amount enters the StemJet. It is recommended to close the valve clockwise, then open it approximately 4 or 5 millimeters at the far end of the handle, and then, turn on the system with the electric switch. The last blast of steam should be done with the polishing switch in the off position.
NOTE: Hold the item to be cleaned as close as possible to the SteamJet Nozzle for maximum results. Lack of proper accessories will greatly diminish cleaning performance.
MAINTENANCE
ALL MODELS MUST BE FILLED WITH WATER DAILY
- The Polishing Solution is automatically agitated each time the Foot Switch is pressed. It is advisable to drain the Polishing Solution Tank and replace the Polishing Compound at least once a year.
- If distilled water is used, cleaning the unit once a year may be adequate. Certain types of distilled water contain considerable amounts of minerals.
